Pre-Purchase surveys are mainly carried out at the request of a prospective buyer who intends to purchase a new or used vessel. Condition and overall operation of the vessel should be examined. This covers structural integrity, electrical systems, the propulsion system, the fuel system, other machinery, navigation equipment, records of certificates, documents, ship history and equipment, miscellaneous on-board systems, cosmetic appearance, electronics, and overall maintenance standards as well as an out-of-water inspection. After a thorough inspection of the vessel by a Surveyor, the Client will be provided with a detailed report on the vessels condition.
